Last week I shot an episode of "The Wedding Band", a new show that will be on TBS next summer. The most notable thing about this role - I was a brunette! Just for a few hours though, no need to panic, people (and by people I mean ME). I had a great time and am looking forward to this series, it's going to be a funny one!

Whoa, it's been a while since I've updated! Time for some catch up; In September I shot an episode of the ABC series "Man Up!", playing a mom who likes to gossip. And sits on the board of the PTA and - how ironic - has a kid who's a bully! Dan Cortese played my husband and we were downright despicable, which is always fun! Here's a pic of us and our "baby"...

Next up I shot a commercial in November for FirstEnergy Solutions, playing a dog loving socialite. I had a Yorkie on my lap and a Jack Russell terrier doing... well... something bad. Not sure which scenario they'll go with until it starts airing, but let's just say it'll be humorous. If there's any doubt my character is a bit ridiculous, look no further than my gold-chained sweater. For shame, Michael Kors, for shame...

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting a Web Series for Disney called CeReality. It is a soap opera spoof, called "The Young and the Breakfast", and the sponsors are Kellogg's and Milk, thus the theme and the title. It was an absolute blast! I got to work with a great director, crew, Disney execs, and of course actors - including real-life soap star Ricky Paull Goldin from All My Children. I will be sure to update the blog with when and where to catch it come September, in the meantime here are a few pics!

I was a part of two friends' projects this week, one a movie musical and the other a web series. Had a lot of fun, and was inspired by people creating their own projects. That in addition to being in the 80's this week in LA - not a bad January!

I was on "Louie" last night! I was so happy to see that my scenes were used - they were originally shot for the pilot, over a year ago. I'm working on getting a clip to add to my reel section - stay tuned!

I had a blast shooting an online spot for Civilization V. They've created a "support group" called CivAnon, for people so addicted to the game that they just can't stop playing. It's a brilliant marketing strategy, the script was hilarious, and there was improv and sock puppets involved. I can't wait to see it up on www.civanon.org - be sure to check the site in about 3 weeks!

Time for an update! The theme in March was Repeat Business. I shot 2 interstitials for Sears, industrials for Honeywell, Lusedra and Novartis, and a commercial for Windstream... all with folks I've worked with before - thus affirming the old adage "work begets work"! Next up I'll be playing a mother on the USA show "Royal Pains" who is too busy texting to notice her son has stuck a noodle up his nose and can't get it out. We shoot in the Hamptons in two weeks, can't wait!

What a week! First I booked and shot an Under 5 on "As the World Turns", then shot an industrial for Lusedra, and then flew down to New Orleans to film a commercial for an amazing new skin care line, called Skin Holistic. Go, go, go!

A short film I was in called "8 Easy Steps" had a great sold out showing at The Palm Beach International Film Festival, and was just picked up for distribution through Shorts International! It will be shown all over Europe, Asia and available on iTunes in the UK and the US. How exciting, a big congratulations to the creators, Alain Hain and Jason Mills!

Yesterday I shot a spot for Delta Faucets which will be airing on the Food Network soon. And a little catch-up: last week I did a voice over for a spec Amex spot and the weekend before that did a funny short film... I'd love to post on-set photos from that shoot but they're keeping the subject matter under wraps for now, I'll post a link to the website when it's ready. Oh, and as promised, a few pix from the "Lights Out" pilot shoot...
